Creating an Innovative Business Concept to Supply Labour into the NDIS

Our client is a national provider of disability employment supports. Amidst the policy and funding changes affecting these sectors, our client was seeking innovative ways to develop new revenue streams, reducing its reliance on government funding.

Impact Co. was engaged to (i) explore the commercial opportunity of supplying a support worker workforce to disability service providers; (ii) develop a detailed business case to determine the viability of that opportunity; and (iii) to create a plan for implementation.

Approach & Outcomes:

Impact Co. undertook extensive market research and experimentation to identify the nature and size of the opportunity. Insights from that was used to inform the design of offering. Further market testing with customers using innovative approaches was conducted to ascertain product-market fit. This was then followed by the development of a detailed business and financial model to support the viability of the venture.

At the conclusion of the project, Impact Co. provided the client with detailed materials articulating product design, approach to customer engagement, financial modelling and a detailed plan for product development and deployment.
